Food Bean And IP Promotion Program Helps Farmers Maximize Profits
The U.S. annually exports 60 million bushels of soybeans at a premium for food-grade use. As this increasing demand continues to outpace U.S. production, growing enhanced-quality or food-grade soybeans becomes increasingly profitable for U.S. farmers. The U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC) recently conducted a project promoting the advantages of identity preserved (IP) and food grade soybean production to U.S. soybean growers. The project, which included print and radio promotion, informed producers of the many advantages of including IP soybeans in their crop rotations.
